The Conservatory of Annie Moses is the premier music program of the Annie Moses Band. Our purpose is to Develop, Disciple, and Debut a new generation in the highest forms of musicianship and artistry, coupled with a Christian vision of the arts for the glory of God. Stylistically diverse, the Conservatory teaches the best of classical technique alongside the charismatic performance skills needed as a modern musician.
The Conservatory of Annie Moses offers each student exceptional private instruction in a variety of instruments including:
violin, voice, viola, cello, guitar, mandolin, harp, composition, and songwriting.
Inspired by the world-class training we’ve received, our unique and practical methodology spans classical technique and popular styles.
Theory and Ear Training classes are the bedrock of all creative classes at the Conservatory and the precursor to the study of improvisation, composition and songwriting.
Our methodology builds upon the fundamental classical understandings of theory, but at advanced levels, branches into commercial and jazz theory which gives wings to students as they delve into the creation of their own original compositions.
Great performers practice performing. Our weekly Master Class provides frequent and friendly opportunities for young artists to learn the art of live performance.In
Stage Coach Class students exercise the building blocks of performance: interactive movement, speech & singing, and dramatic presentation.
The Conservatory of Annie Moses is directed by the Wolaver family. Bill and Robin Wolaver, parents of the six siblings that comprise the Annie Moses Band, are award-winning songwriters and devoted pedagogues, as exemplified in the musical expertise of their children.
These six siblings comprise the Annie Moses Band, a folk and classical music group who studied at many excellent schools, including the Juilliard School, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, and Manhattan’s School for Strings. Members of the Annie Moses Band are award-winning performers with three top-ten classical-crossover albums to their credit.
The Annie Moses Band, and the outstanding collective of pedagogues who have joined their cause, exists to raise up a new generation of artistic leaders who are wholly fluent in the creation of music and committed to the Christian faith.
